Booking and Payment Options
- Reservations can be made through our website, over the phone, or directly at our Chesham office. A deposit may be necessary to confirm your booking, with the total payment and security deposit typically collected at the time of vehicle pickup. All prices are quoted in British Pounds (£) and include VAT where applicable. We accept major credit and debit cards, with secure transactions managed by trusted payment processors.
Vehicle Pickup and Drop-off
- At the time of vehicle collection, a thorough inspection is required. Any pre-existing damage must be reported immediately. A vehicle condition report will be prepared and both parties are expected to sign it. Upon return, the vehicle should be in the same condition as when it was collected, accounting for normal wear and tear. Any new damage will be evaluated and charges applied accordingly. The vehicle should also be returned with the same fuel level; refueling fees will be incurred if it is returned with less fuel. Late returns may attract additional fees, so please inform us as soon as possible if you anticipate a delay. You will be responsible for any parking fines, traffic violations, or other charges incurred during the rental period, along with an administration fee.
5. Liability and Insurance
- All rentals include basic third-party insurance, with complete coverage details and excess amounts outlined in your Rental Agreement. You are responsible for any damage or loss up to the insurance excess, barring coverage by additional insurance. Damage resulting from negligence or misuse remains your responsibility, irrespective of insurance coverage.
Cancellation and Modifications
Cancellation and amendment policies differ according to the type of booking and the notice period provided. For precise information, please consult your booking confirmation or Rental Agreement. Be aware that late cancellations or no-shows may incur additional charges.
Prohibited Activities
Prohibited Vehicle Uses in Chesham
- Prohibited uses include any unlawful activities or purposes. Engaging in racing, rallying, or off-roading is not allowed. The transportation of hazardous materials is strictly forbidden. Subletting vehicles or permitting unauthorized drivers is not permitted. Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs is unacceptable.
